Public Video Screening Licence for Education

    Screen Films Legally

Screen Films from Hollywood and Independent Studios

    Administered by CEFM

Screening films in schools or higher education establishments

Under UK copyright law, educational institutions such as schools, colleges, universities, and PTAs wishing to screen a film in an extracurricular setting will generally require a licence from the copyright owner or its representatives.

The Public Video Screening Licence (PVSL) allows you to legally organise ad hoc screenings of films from our participating studios below.

Please note that if your establishment does not obtain the required licence, it risks infringing copyright.
